Can I move a domain I own elsewhere to Build Anything?

Yes, in one of two ways.

Connect it and keep your current registrar. You add two DNS records, your app goes live on the domain, and everything about who owns and renews it stays where it is. No fee, and it works in minutes. Go to Domains → Add a domain → Connect one you own. This is the right choice for most people.

Transfer it in and we become your registrar, handling renewals and DNS in one place. Connect the domain first, then open it and press Transfer to Build Anything. You'll need to unlock the domain at your current registrar and get its auth (EPP) code.

ICANN rules block a transfer if the domain was registered less than 60 days ago, was transferred in the last 60 days, or is still locked. Connecting works in the meantime, so your app can be live while you wait.

Transfers take several days, mostly waiting on your old registrar to email you for approval. You'll see the price before you confirm and aren't charged until it completes. Your app keeps working throughout.
